Craziest but most precious kid ever!

"Let's start the day off with some "bucking bronco"!! Ready mom? Can you stay on all day?"
Rummaging around in shipping boxes...
What fun throwing everything out!
Don't you just want these socks on your head, daddy?
I don't like that, mom, could you please change your mind?

Swimming shorts on the head--that's a good way to go for a dip!

How did you get there? Sitting in the drawer? Oh well, that's just about 1% of all the places Jayden climbs and all the things he messes up every day.

Reworking the couches....He also likes to push all the separate couch pieces around the living room, and re-arrange all the furniture.
And likes to wear "big people's" shoes!
Getting in the car to play with all the buttons and switches is a favorite past-time--to the point of obsession!
Here we go!.....

Story-time with Daddy....

Birthday party #2!!

"Wow, this takes a lot of coordination to show "2" with your fingers!"

And riding the carousel at the zoo on his birthday.
Daddy's tools--they are the best!

"Oooh, yuck! Dirty, mama"

Jayden is a great assistant. He loves to "help" unload the dishwasher, do the laundry, carry trash to the garbage can, etc.

And he loves to climb around on the rocks and steep hillside. I'm just holding my breath, hoping he won't kill himself before he's 5!

Whatever he does, he does it with all his heart. He loves life, he loves to tease, to pest, to help, to laugh, to play hard, and to be difficult too! What a kid! We got 2 or 3 kids for the price of 1, yippee!!!!

Recent snow storm-wow!!!

Wow, what a wonderful treat to have nearly 3 feet of snow after a very dry winter. It came all within 2 days' time--it was a winter wonderland here.

This is the first day of the storm--Emmanuel got stuck in the RAV4 and had to dig out. After that it snowed another 1.5 feet on Saturday.

Making a snowman...

Our neighbor who does our plowing slid off the road down the steep hillside and we were trying to help him get the truck back up on the road (to no avail--he had to get a tow truck in later!).

Gorgeous view after the clouds lifted!
